Facilities

Schloss Dagstuhl provides everything needed for an intensive and productive research week, including modern seminar rooms, breakout spaces, a specialized computer science library, comfortable single rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, collaborative workspaces, and excellent catering throughout the stay. Guests also have access to the sauna, lounges, music and recreation rooms, fitness facilities, and numerous informal meeting spaces that encourage discussion beyond the official program.

Getting There

Most international participants arrive via Frankfurt Airport, with convenient train connections to nearby stations such as Merzig, St. Wendel, or Türkismühle, followed by a short transfer to Schloss Dagstuhl.

To make your journey as smooth as possible, the organizing team will provide individual travel assistance before your arrival. We will coordinate shuttle services from nearby train stations whenever possible, assist with travel questions, and help accommodate individual arrival schedules.

Welcome Package

Every participant will receive a personal welcome package prepared by the organizing team. In addition to practical information about the seminar and the venue, it will contain useful materials for the week and a few small surprises to make your stay at Schloss Dagstuhl even more enjoyable.

• Please let us know your travel itinerary as early as possible so we can coordinate transfers.

• We recommend comfortable shoes, as the beautiful surroundings of Schloss Dagstuhl are ideal for short walks and the traditional mid-week excursion.
